About

Satchel & Slate is a small, independent U.S. shop that makes printable resources for homeschool families. We started with the jobs that eat up a parent's Sunday evening: keeping attendance and hours records, planning the week, and finding enough clean practice problems for the one skill your child is stuck on.

Every product is a plain, print-friendly PDF. There are no subscriptions, no logins, and nothing to install. The planners and logs are undated, so you can start in August or in March. The practice packs focus on one skill at a time and always include answer keys. Before we publish a math pack, we check every answer by script, because a wrong answer key is worse than no key.

Our current line covers record keeping (an attendance and hours log), planning (a weekly planner for up to four children), 2nd grade two-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping, 3rd grade multiplication facts 0–12, and the 50 states and capitals. We will add more grade-level packs as families ask for them. If there's a skill you want covered, email us. We read every message.

Satchel & Slate is not affiliated with any curriculum publisher, school district, or government agency. Our attendance log helps you keep records, but it does not replace your state's homeschool requirements.
